Ekia Dash
Ekia is having a sale, but it’s ending soon! Dash through the store with your shopping cart to grab what’s on your list as fast as possible!
Instructions and tips:
W to move forward, S to move backwards, A and D to strafe left and right. Left and Right arrow keys to turn the cart. Hold Shift to move and turn faster and have reduced friction!
- During your first playthrough, take your time to get familiar with the controls and item locations. Doing this will set you up for success in future runs.
- Most of the time, you'll want to be using shift to dash through larger areas; but when turning corners in a small passageway, not so much.
- The character pushing the cart does not collide with tiles; only the cart (or its corners, rather) do.
- Items are collected when the center of the cart itself touches them.
- Bumping into walls makes you lose most of your momentum, but you can use them to your advantage when you need to rotate quickly. Just rotate a bit and slam into the wall! Great for corners in narrow passages.
- The minimap in the top right shows where you are in the level (as the red dot), along with where the remaining items are placed (green dots)! You can use this if you have a nagging feeling that you left an item behind.
- There's a secret hidden in the level that doesn't appear on your minimap! Can you find it? (Hint: what's a part of the level that's not filled with anything?)
"Features":
- An annoying (yet catchy?) soundtrack made by a noob
- Half-baked collision detection
- Phasing through walls?
This is my first game publicly released on itch.io and my first game jam game.
Have fun!
Oh, and don't use the phasing through walls thing to cheat, please ;)

This is actually so adorable I love it :3
Thanks! :3
Yeah your game perfectly lines up with the message I sent about my idea, you just stole it
Bro let him make his game
the game is bassically unplayable, the controls are horribly strange and unintuitive, leads me to the idea that you really just stole the idea after i talked about it, and tried to make a game in a day.
suspiciously simular to my game (≖_≖ )
hope its just a coincidence, but if its not, did this bring you any satisfaction? just stealing an idea?
